Children's Day Celebration - 2017

The Paediatric unit I of the out-patient department and Paediatric
department of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital had
organized a Free Rural health camp
along with awareness talk and competitions with regard to the children's
day.
The Rural health camp
registration began from 10 a.m on 11th November 2017 and the competition began with
the first session of drawing competition and fancy dress competition at 11am
and later in the afternoon we had the second session of drawing competition and
fancy dress competition from 2:30pm.
The Fancy dress competition was for children from 6-10yrs(11
Participants) and a Drawing competition for children between 11-15 yrs(65
participants).
A total of 154 children availed the facility of free Rural health
camp.
The investigations done for the children were not charged. Medicines
were supplied without payment for the children's day.
The P.G and interns decorated the paediatric unit of the OPD. Sweets
and take home gifts were distributed to the children who visited the OPD on
children's day.
The patients were from the nearby localities and schools. It was a
real time of joy for the children and it was a pleasure for us doctors to see
such bliss on the faces of the children.
On the whole the programme was a grand success
because of the co-operation from the management, Paediatric unit staff, PG's
and Interns.
