TRAINING AND DEMONSTRATION SESSION ON “UpToDate Anywhereâ€
Father Muller Knowledge Centre (Central Library) organized a
Training and Demonstration session on “UpToDate Anywhere†on 7th
March 2017. Dr I. Vinod, Marketing &
Training – Lead, Clinical Effectiveness/ UpToDate, Wolters Kluwer India (Health)
was the resource person for the training session.
Dr Nagesh K.R, Professor & Head of
the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology & Chairperson of the
Library Committee welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person.
The resource person gave demonstration
on Uptodate evidence
based e-resource and highlighted its
features - Topic search, Drug interaction, usage of abbreviation, contents
search, graphic search and to export it to PowerPoint, patient education and Uptodate
access through Mobile Apps etc. Faculty and Postgraduate students actively
participated and cleared their doubts. At the end, Dr Janet Dotty Lobo,
Librarian, FMCI proposed the vote of thanks.
