BLESSING OF SURGERY DEPARTMENT SKILL LAB
The blessing and inauguration of Surgery Department Skill
Lab took place on 11-05-2017 at 3.00 p.m.
Dr. Leo Francis Tauro, Professor & HOD welcomed the gathering. The skill lab was inaugurated by Rev. Fr.
Richard Coelho, Director, In-charge, FMCI and Administrator, FMMCH by cutting
the ribbon. The blessing of Skill Lab (Endo-trainers) was done by Rev. Fr.
Richard Coelho. Sr. Janet, Chief Nursing Officer compiled the prayer service. On
his inaugural address Rev. Fr. Richard Coelho stressed on the need of Hands on
Training which these endo-trainers will provide and in the long run
postgraduates and junior staff members will master the skills which is the need
of the hour.
On this occasion cake cutting was done by Rev. Fr.
Richard Coelho and Dr. Leo Francis Tauro.
The two Endo-trainers were donated by Meril Company. Mr. Shrinath, Sales Manager and
representative from Meril Company were present for the inauguration. The staff and postgraduates from the
department surgery have attended the function.
