HEALTH TALK – Postnatal Guidelines
In
observance of International Midwifery Day, the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecological Nursing of Father Muller College of Nursing delivered a health
talk on “Postnatal guidelines†in the local language, Tulu on 11.05.2017 at
10.0 am at the District Hospital, Bantwal.
The topics dealt with during this session were: newborn care, importance
of breast feeding, breast feeding techniques, importance of partner and family
support, self perineal care and puerperial infections. The programme came to an end at 11.00 am.
