Department of General Surgery successfully conducted a free camp on Haemorrhoids under the guidance of Dr Leo Tauro, Professor & HOD, Department of General Surgery, from 15^th to 20^th May 2017.  Deserving patients were given free treatment. 

At the same time a Stapler Haemorrhoidectomy workshop was conducted for faculty attending from various medical colleges around Karnataka.  This is the first time a stapler haemorrhoidctomy workshop was held in Karnataka under the guidance of Dr Erel Diaz, Professor & Unit Head and Dr Rakesh Rai, Professor and Unit Head.  5 cases were demonstrated to the surgeons.  The programme ended with distribution of certificates to all the delegates.
