Report on Health talk on Substance Abuse
The Department of Mental
Health Nursing organized a health talk on Substance abuse on 22/6/2017 for the
patients of de-addiction ward. Mr Shajan Xaviour, Lecturer, FMCON and Mr S K
Shripathi Bhat,
Counsellor, De-addiction ward were the resource persons and they conducted the
sessions in Malayalam and Kannada. A role play related to the topic was
conducted by 3rd year B Sc Nursing students. The session gave awareness
on the different types of substances, its side effects and complications.
Nearly 35 members were benefited by this programme.
