DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY – GUEST LECTURE
The Department of General
Surgery, Father Muller Medical College, conducted Guest Lecture on 23rd September 2017 from
3.00 to 4.30 p.m. in the Hospital Conference Hall. The programme began with a prayer song by
final year MBBS students. Dr Leo Francis Tauro, Professor & HOD,
Department of Surgery, welcomed the gathering. Dr Sunil Furtado, Consultant
Neurosurgeon, M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru delivered a Lecture
on “Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
& Brain Vascular Bypass – Management for Cerebral Ischaemiaâ€. Dr Madhukar
Nayak, Professor & Consultant Neurosurgeon and Dr Raghavendra B.S.,
Consultant Neurologist, Father Muller Medical College moderated the
session. Dr Shubha N. Rao, Professor, Department of Surgery proposed the
vote of thanks.
The programme was compered by Dr Monalisa D’Souza, Postgraduate Resident. All Staff members, Postgraduates from the Department of Surgery, House Surgeons and final year students were present for the Guest Lecture. A total of 80 delegates attended the guest lecture.
