Inauguration and Orientation programme for II MBBS at FMMC
The Inauguration and
orientation programme for II MBBS - III TERM Students for the year 2018-19 was
held on 20th August 2018 at the Conference Hall of Father Muller
Medical College Hospital.
The programme commenced
with an invocation followed by lamp lighting by the dignitaries.
Dr Jayaprakash Alva,
Dean, FMMC gave an informative introduction to the course and welcomed the
students.
Rev. Fr Richard
Aloysius Coelho, Director, FMCI gave insights on the institution. In his
presidential address, he congratulated the students on their achievements over
the past academic year and urged the students to stay focused on their goal of
becoming a successful doctor. He further asked the students to make the most of
every opportunity and to stand up to the etiquette of the institution.
On this occasion Rev.
Fr Ajith B. Menezes, Administrator, FMMC felicitated the students who had
successfully passed the MBBS Examinations held in June 2018 and wished good
luck for the upcoming course.
Rev. Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa,
Administrator, FMMCH, Rev. Fr Jeevan Sequiera, Asst Administrator, FMMCH, Dr B.
Sanjeev Rai, CMS, Dr Padmaja Uday Kumar, Vice Dean and others were present on
this occasion.
Dr Peter George,
Professor, General Medicine proposed the Vote of thanks. Ms Sushmitha Ravi Kumar
compeered the programme.
The students will go
through 4 days of orientation programme which includes the aspects of clinical
management.
