Poster Competition on Diabetic Foot
The Department of General
Surgery, Father Muller Medical College organized a poster competition for MBBS
students and Interns on 4th September 2018 at the Department premises.
Themed on ‘Diabetic Foot’, a
total of 15 teams comprising of two members each, participated in the
competition. Ms Sowkanthika and Ms
Sheeba (First Prize), Mr Niranjan Shetty (Second Prize), Ms Shreya M. and Ms
Careena Lobo (Third Prize) emerged as winners.
Consolation Prize was given to the runners-up teams of Ms Dhanya and Ms
Swathi, Ms Reshma and Ms Rishelle.
Dr Leo F. Tauro, Professor and
Head of the Department of Surgery and Dr Erel A.I. Diaz, Professor and Unit
Head, Department of Surgery, handed over the prize money in cash to the winners
of the poster competition. Dr Leo F. Tauro, Dr Erel A.I. Diaz, Dr
Rajeshwara K.V., Dr Caren D’Souza and Dr Prathvi Shetty were the judges for the
event. Dr Sheldon Mathias, Assistant
Professor, Department of Surgery, coordinated the event. The overall event was enthusiastically participated
by MBBS students with creative ideas.
