METANOIA 2K18 - Freshers day Celebration
The various departments of Allied Health Science
Courses of Father Muller Medical College organized “METANOIA 2K18â€, Fresher’s
day programme on 17 November 2018 at the Academy Hall.
The programme commenced
by seeking the blessings of the Almighty in the form of a prayer song.
Fr Richard Aloysius
Coelho, Director, FMCI addressed the new batch of students. Emphasizing on the
theme of the programme he said, “Fresher’s day is a day set aside for student’s
to exhibit their talents, to learn and appreciate each other and to establish
their skills. He prioritized the importance of being disciplined in Student
Life. “Grab every opportunity in life, and make the best use of the facilities
provided by the Instituteâ€, he further stated.
2nd-year students from
BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Radiotherapy
Technology and Physiotherapy students organized the programme. Apart from this,
a lot of exciting activities were conducted to help the freshers explore their
interests and meet new friends and guides who would be with them for the
upcoming years.
The fresher’s also
showcased their talents through various performances.Fr Rudolph Ravi D'Sa,
Administrator, FMMCH, Fr Felix Monteiro, Spiritual Director, FMCI, Dr Jaya
Prakash Alva,Dean, FMMC, Dr Padmaja Udaykumar, Vice-Dean, FMMC Course co-ordinators: Dr Sumanth D, Medical
Laboratory Technology, Dr Anto Richie,
Medical Imaging Technology ,Dr M.S Athiyamaan, Radiotherapy Technology and Sudeep Pais, Physiotherapy were present.
