Group Health Education on Environmental Sanitation
The department of Community Health Nursing along with
the students of 2nd year PBBSC Nursing, organized a group health
education on the topic “Environmental Sanitation and prevention
of mosquito breeding†for a group of family members of Janatha colony, Kana. It
was organized on 20th November 2018 as an observance of “National Pollution
Prevention Dayâ€.
There was also an
educative session on “Prevention & Treatment Of Diabetes Mellitusâ€. The
students displayed diabetic diet & later the food items were served to 20
beneficiaries of the programme. Mrs Shiji P J, Associate Professor and Mrs
Deepika N C, Lecturer, from department of Community health Nursing coordinated
this Educational event.
