WORLD AIDS DAY – AWARENESS PROGRAM
The Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing
Department of Father Muller College of Nursing organized AIDS Day programme on
01-12-2018 at Government Composite PU College Bokkapattna, Mangaluru for 61
high school students. This was in observance of World AIDS day which is
celebrated every year on 1st of December. Mrs. Pramila D’Souza, HOD
of OBG Nursing Department spoke on various aspects of AIDS and also highlighted
on this year’s theme “Know Your Statusâ€. The students of IV year B.Sc. Nursing performed
a mime show to create awareness on AIDS prevention. Hand hygiene was
demonstrated to the students and its importance was explained to them.
