Jesus youth day and Christmas celebration
For the first time, Jesus youth
organised Christmas Celebration and Jesus youth day at Father Muller Charitable
Institution premises. The programme was held on December 2, 2018, in the
Academy hall.
The programme commenced with an
invocation in the form of prayer song. Ann
Maria Jojo, Coordinator of Jesus youth, FMCI, accorded a cordial welcome to the
gathering.
Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho,
Director, FMCI, Fr Ajith B. Menezes, Administrator, FMMC, Fr Rudolf,
Administrator, FMMCH, Fr Nelson Dheeraj Pais, Asst Administrator, FMMCH, Fr Felix
Monteiro, Jesus youth coordinator, Fr George D’ Souza ,Chaplain ,FMCI,
Sr Janet D Souza, Chief Nursing Officer,
Sr Jacintha D’Souza, Principal FMCON, Jasmine Saritha Vas, Principal, FMSON, Sr
Deepa Peter, Head of Fundamentals of
Nursing department, Sr Nancy were the dignitaries present on the occasion.
Dr Sanjay J. Fernandes, Asst
Professor of Anatomy and Nimmy Alex, Lecturer, St Aloysius College were the
judges for the Carol singing competition.
Followed by cake cutting
ceremony, Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, appreciated the initiative taken by the
Jesus Youth organizing Committee in organizing the programme and said,
"Every week when you come together and pray, it is a great motivation to
others, and you yourself become an inspiration.
Spirituality in life is necessary to achieve success", he said.
Eight teams participated in the
Carol singing competition.
Every team presented a wonderful
programme which thrilled the audience. First prize was secured by Lourdes
Hostel, Carmel Hostel (2nd Yr) secured the second Prize and the third prize was
bagged by Carmel Hostel (3rd Yr). Apart from this, best Santa Competition and
culturals were held.

Coordinator of Jesus youth FMCI delivered the Vote of thanks.
