GUEST LECTURE ON HIGH RISK DISEASES IN PREGNANCY
With regards to the
International women’s week, a guest lecture was conducted for 3rd
BHMS students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on 04/03/2019 from
2:00 – 4:00pm. The topic that was chosen was –“HIGH RISK DISEASES IN PREGNANCYâ€, the guest lecture who had come
was Dr Shannon Francesca Fernandes, Assistant Professor, Department of
Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Father Muller Medical College. The lecture was
conducted in Lecture hall II.
The class started with the
introduction of Dr Shannon by Dr Salini Mandal B.G, Asst Professor, Dept of
OBGy, FMHMC. Followed by handing over the class to Dr Shannon. The topics that
were covered by her were Hypertensive diseases, Hemolytic diseases, Diabetes
and all other disease conditions prevailing during the antenatal period.
The lecture was very well
received by the students. The lecture was very informative and covered the
major topics with information regarding the treatment methods and their prognosis.At
the end of the lecture, a feedback was collected from the students.
