Report on Prolife Day
The
Student Support and Progression Committee of Father Muller College of Nursing
organized Prolife Day on 6th April 2019 in coordination with Jesus
Youth, Mangaluru in the Academic hall. The programme began by invoking God’s
blessing through a prayer song. This was followed by the lamp lighting by the
dignitaries which marked the beginning of the ceremony. Rev Sr Jacintha DSouza,
Principal, Father Muller College of Nursing and Mr Jobin John, Coordinator of
Jesus Youth were present for the inauguration. Sr Deepa Peter, Committee Chairperson
extended a cordial welcome to the gathering. The Chief Guest Dr Finto Francis,
Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Mariam Theresa Hospital, Kerala
delivered the key note address. Rev Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director of
FMCI delivered the presidential address. Ms Shilpa Jacob, Coordinator of Jesus
Youth proposed the vote of thanks.
Followed
by the Inauguration, an inspirational talk on the topic “Life – Gift of God’
was delivered by the chief guest and simultaneously exhibition on various
topics related to Prolife were displayed at Rajath Bhavan of Father Muller
College of Nursing for the staff and students of FMCI. Online quiz and poster
competition were conducted and the winners were awarded with attractive prizes.
