Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann organized a Walkathon
today from the College Campus to Deralakatte Junction and a Street play at Thokkottu
& Deralakatte junction to create awareness of World Homoeopathy
Day. Dr Sajan K R, H.O.D, Department
of Community Medicine and Mr Vivek
Fernandez, Medical Social Worker led the event. Dr Ranjan Britto is the convener for the World Homoeopathy day
celebrations.
In the Morning World Homoeopathy
day was inaugurated by galading the busts of Dr Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann and Fr. Augustus Muller by Rev
Fr Vincent Saldanha, Administrator, FMHMC. The students and staff of
the College participated in the walkathon that started at 9.30 AM from the
College Campus to Deralakatte Junction and there a Street Play was performed by
the students highlighting the origin, growth and method of treatment through
Homoeopathy. At 10.30 the participants started to Thokkottu Junction and
re-performed the street play and raised slogans for the cause of projecting
Homoeopathy. A large number of people witnessed the street play at Deralakatte
and Thokkottu junction.
The event ended at 12.30 PM.
