Vitiligo Day Report

On the occasion of World Vitiligo day, Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists [IADVL] – Karnataka Branch organized a public awareness campaign throughout Karnataka.    On the eve of this “Vitiligo Jatha” the vehicle which is travelling throughout Karnataka arrived to Father Muller Medical College Hospital premises at 10.30 am on 27th June 2018.  Rev. Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa – Administrator, FMMCH  & Rev. Fr Jeevan George Sequeira - Assistant Administrator FMMCH,  Dr B. Sanjeev Rai - CMS FMCI, Dr Sukumar D - Prof & HOD of Dermatology, Staff & Post graduates of department of Dermatology were present during the occasion.  During this occasion leaflets about Vitiligo were distributed to the public.  From here the vehicle proceeded to various other places in the city.

 

Vitiligo camp was  organized by the department of Dermatology in the Skin OPD on 27th June 2018. Free Registration for all the patients with VITILIGO, 50 % reduction in charges for phototherapy and surgical modalities like punch/ blister grafting and free medicines were provided to the patients.
