The inauguration of Additional Floor of Asha Kiran
Block and Mother & Child Block was
held on 1 November 2018.
Rev.Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, FMCI
welcomed the Bishop, governing board members, management committee members,
guest priests, faculty, staff and students present on the occasion.
Rev.Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, Administrator, FMMCH
conducted the prayer service.
Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore
inaugurated the departmental space and blessed the premises.
On the outset, he congratulated the management for
completing the entire project within a span of six months.
“Father Muller’s is an institute of grace. Fr
Augustus Muller started this great work by treating the lepers and marginalized
sections of the society, he considered them as people worth caring for, and the
same has been continued by the Institute today. Coming from Germany, Fr
Augustus Muller had a big dream and vision for this institute and we need to
harness the same†and he also gave a call to ‘Dream high’.
“Miracles happen when humanity comes together and
God in his mighty power works wondersâ€, he added.
Rev.Fr Ajith B. Menezes, Administrator, FMMC
supervised the entire building work and provided all the logistic support.
