New facilities added in Father Mullers on the auspicious occasion of 178th birth anniversary of the Founder Rev. Fr Augustus Muller, SJ.
Father
Muller Charitable Institution has added another golden feather to its cap on this
day 13th March 2019. The Bishop of Mangalore & the President of
Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha offered
Eucharistic Sacrifice along with the Priests in the Management and Guest
Priests. After the Mass he inaugurated and
blessed the Advanced 128 slice CT scanner, renovated block of Fatima Ward and
the huge Sump and Overhead Water Tank.
The
advanced 128 slice CT scanner is a next generation volume CT scanner with
higher clarity imaging and is a must for every healthcare fraternity. The biggest
advantages of the 128 slice CT scanner is the reduction in radiation dose and
time taken for scan is reduced considerably. With the addition of the same, the patients
waiting time will be reduced and more work load can be taken up.
The
renovated block of Fatima Ward aims at providing world class healthcare
facility to the general public. The infrastructure consists of 41 Air
conditioned rooms including deluxe and suite rooms catering the various needs
of the patients. With the state-of-the-art facilities, the hospital aims at
treating the patients in a better and efficient way keeping in mind the comfort
of the patient. This state-of-the-art facility may help medical tourism.
Foreseeing the water requirement, a huge Sump and a Overhead
Tank was also Inaugurated on the same day. The sump is having a capacity of 17
lakh litres storage capacity and overhead tank is having a capacity of 3 lakh litres.
The artistic structure of the tank is designed beautifully and one will admire.
This water storage and water supply unit is a boon to the Institutions.
