CNE ON UROLOGY NURSING PROCEDURES

Continuing Nursing Education on Urology Nursing Procedures was
organised by the Continuing Nursing Education Cell of the
Nursing Service Department of Father Muller Medical College Hospital
on 14th February 2019. Dr Nandakishore B, Assistant Professor of the department
of Urology, Father Muller Medical College was the resource person for the
session. During the session, Dr Nandakishore highlighted on the need for
expertise in managing urology patients and the skills essential in performing
the urology related procedures. He demonstrated procedures like bladder
irrigation, catheterization, urine sample collection and explained on the types
of fluid required for bladder wash and demonstrated the procedure as
well.
