Report on research  MoU signed with AIMIT, St. Aloysius College, Beeri
A Memorandum of understanding on Health Care and
Data Analysis with view of strengthening research was signed between Father
Muller Medical College, Mangalore and AIMIT, St Aloysius College, Beeri; on 17th April 2019.

Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions and Rev Fr
Denzil Lobo, Director, AIMIT-St. Aloysius College, Beeri signed and exchanged
the MoU.
Public health
priority diseases in the community, comprehensive care provided in the hospital
and quality laboratory data would be the research areas under focus.
The MoU was
signed in the presence of Rev Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, Administrator, FMMCH; Rev
Fr Ajith Menezes, Administrator, FMMC; Dr J P Alva, Dean, FMMC; Dr Sanjeev Rai,
Chief Research Officer, FMCI; Dr Sudhir
Prabhu, Associate Professor in Community Medicine, FMMC; Prof Santosh Rebello,
Dean, PG-Department of IT and Bio-informatics and Dr S Ruban, Assistant
Professor and HOD, Department of Software technology, AIMIT-St Aloysius
College, Beeri.
The purpose of
the MoU is to strengthen quality research work in both the institutions which
will also enable training of faculty members and students pertaining to research
on big data and its analysis in the area of healthcare. Research being an
important aspect of health care, the
collaboration would strengthen the array of services and quality medical care
provided under the institutions motto of “Heal
and Comfortâ€.
