World Homoeopathy Day 2017

The World Homoeopathy Day 2017 was observed at Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte on 10.04.17 at 9.00. A.M commemorating the 262nd birth anniversary of our founder Dr Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann. The inauguration programme began with a prayer song invoking God's blessings by Ms Aleena Roy and team at 11.00 A.M. Dr Shivaprasad K, Principal, FMHMC welcomed the gathering.

 

The Chief Guest for the programme was Dr M R Ravi, K.A.S, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, D.K District and the Guest of Honour was Dr M S Karthikaeyan Sethu, distinguished alumnus 1992 batch, Managing Director, S.S Hans Hospital, Madurai. The programme was presided by Rev Fr Richard Coelho, Director Incharge, FMCI.

 

There was a formal traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the Dais.

 

The Chief Guest gave his beautiful message in which he inspired the students to have values and character and be good human beings.

 

Dr Danielraj, Medical Head, Dr Batras (south zone) announced and distributed the prizes to the Top achievers Ms Aysha Rauf – Rs 45000, Ms Keerthana K– Rs 15000 and Ms Yenduri Anusha, Rs 10000 on this occasion. 


The Incharge Director, Rev. Fr Richard Coelho delivered his presidential address in which he wished all students a happy World Homoeopathy Day and motivated them to be good citizens and to do selfless service in healing humanity of their ills.

 

Dr Rita Chakraborty, Professor & H.O.D, Department of Repertory, convenor, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed her happiness and gratitude. The programme was compeered competently by Dr Yashaswini and Dr Shruti, Postgraduates.

 

After the inaugural programme, the Guest of Honor addressed the gathering and shared his experience and knowledge.

 

Competitions such as Essay writing, Extempore, Drug Picture presentation & Quiz were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners and runners.

The programme ended with a delicious lunch for all the students and faculty.
