REPORT OF FREE MEDICAL CAMP HELD AT KAIRANGALA AIDED HIGHER PRIMARY SCHOOL, MUDIPU(NARINGANA)
On the 3rd of March 2019 a team of seven went for a medical health camp in Kairangala Aided Higher Primary School, Mudipu(Naringana). The camp commenced at 11:30am. The team consisted of Dr Diana R ( team leader), 2 Post graduate students: Dr Linga Reddy & Dr Ahsan and 4 interns : Ms Sadiya Hanif, Ms Roshni Kundar, Ms Nandini & Ms Kripashree. The camp started with an inaugural meeting followed by health talk delivered by Dr Linga Reddy in kannada emphasizing the importance of health, hygiene and the benefits of homoeopathy treatment.
After the health talk, we conducted the general health check-up. A total of 43 patients were examined. 19 males, 3 children and 21 females. Dr Diana, Dr Linga Reddy and Dr Ahsan did consultation, Ms Sadiya Hanif did the registration, Ms Kripashree checked the height and weight and Ms Roshni Kundar, Ms Nandini dispensed the medicines. The various diseases we came across were Diabetes, hypertension, upper respiratory tract infections, hypothyroidism, migraine and gastritis. The patients were prescribed medicines for 1 week and asked to report back to Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital at Deralakatte for further treatment. The camp concluded at 2:30 pm.
