FREE MEDICAL CAMP HELD AT SHAMBOOR SACRED HEART CHURCH ON 10.03.2019 FROM FATHER MULLER HOMOEPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE DERALAKATTE
The Department of Obstetrics and
Gynaecology organized Women’s Health awareness camp on female genital cancer
and breast cancer on 10th March 2019 at Shamboor sacred heart
church. The Programme started by invoking God’s blessings through a
prayer song followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries Rev Fr
Gerald Parish Priest shamboor sacred heart church introduce the resource person
of the camp. Dr Vilma Dsouza Prof and HOD, Department of OBG gave a talk on “Importance of women healthcare in cancerâ€.
After the talk free medical check-up and treatment was given for all the camp patients.
The team consisted of Dr Vilma Dsouza (team leader), 2 Post graduate students:
Dr Ansu Susan & Dr.Adlin Gonsalves and 4 interns: Ms Shahla U, Ms Safa
Ishaq, Ms Renji Alice and Ms Laya. The
total number of patients attended for the camp 44.
