World Vitiligo day

On the occasion of World Vitiligo day,
the Department of Dermatology in association with Indian Association
of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists [IADVL] – Karnataka Branch
and Department of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka, Karavali
Dermatology Society have organized a public awareness campaign
throughout Karnataka.
On the eve of this “Vitiligo Jathaâ€
the vehicle which is travelling throughout Karnataka will arrive to Mangalore
on 16.07.2017. The Jatha vehicle will arrive at the Father
Muller Medical College Hospital premises at 10.30 am.
The Department of Dermatology has
arranged a public awareness programme during this Jatha near Medical
Records Section [Out patient]. Rev. Fr. Richard A. Coelho, Director,
FMCI will flag off the Jatha.
During this occasion leaflets about Vitiligo will be distributed to the
public. Hence I request the MC members, Medical College staff and
students to participate in large numbers during a short programme of Vitiligo
Jatha in our hospital.
