one day CME - UPDATE IN UROGYNAECOLOGY and wet workshop on ‘BLADDER REPAIR’ on
06.05.2018 between 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. in the Decennial Hall, Father Muller
Medical College, Mangaluru.
Theme of the CME : ‘INCONTINENCE TO CONTINENCE’.
The complaint of involuntary leakage of urine is a common and distressing
medical condition severely affecting the quality of the life (QOL). With
prevalence ranging from 10 to 34% among Indian women, this condition is usually
under-reported or inadequately treated leading to persistence of problems among
women.
Hence it is important to be aware
of the treatment options, short and long term outcome and research in the field
of pelvic health aiming at improving the quality of life among women with voiding
dysfunction.
We have invited eminent specialists in the field of Urogynaecology to update us on the recent trends in the management of urinary dysfunction. The CME will benefit Gynaecologist, Urologists and Postgraduate students.
