“UTERUS IN FOCUS" LIVE HYSTEROSCOPIC WORKSHOP
A live hysteroscopic workshop “Uterus in Focus†was organized
by the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in collaboration with
Mangalore Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society on 22nd October 2016 in the
Knowledge Centre Hall of Father Muller Medical College.
The workshop
aimed at refining the skills and updating the knowledge of participants in
operative hysteroscopy.
The total
number of delegates who attended this workshop were 120 which included senior
and fellow Gynaecologists from various Medical colleges, Nursing professionals
and Post graduates from all Medical colleges in Mangalore.
The workshop was inaugurated by
renowned Gynecologist, Laparoscopic Surgeon and Infertility Specialist Dr Vidya
V. Bhat, Medical Director of Radhakrishna Multispecialty Hospital, Bangalore.
She shared several valuable tips and difficult aspects of operative
hysteroscopy which was very helpful to all the delegates who are desirous of
practicing the same in the near future.
The live
hysteroscopy workshop was not only an absolute pleasure to watch but also was a
great experience and a boost for all aspiring surgeons among the delegates.
Later during the day, a hands-on
training session was conducted by the key resource person, Dr Vidya on
hysterotrainers for all the postgraduates.
The postgraduates were thrilled to handle the hysteroscope and
instruments. This Hands-on training was
very much appreciated by all the participants.
