GUEST LECTURE: “COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENTâ€
The
Department of Hospital Administration conducted a guest lecture on 19th
November 2016 in the Seminar Hall of the Hospital Administration Department. MS
CAROL PAIS COELHO, Advocate and Life Skill Trainer, was the guest speaker for
the session. The participants for the session were I and II year MHA students.
The
session commenced at 9.00am with the welcome address by Ms. Viola Joslin
Martis. The guest speaker briefed the participants on the different
COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF
HOSPITALS. She expressed the importance of listening and observation, so that
the students were able to handle the challenges as future administrators. The
hands-on activities that the speaker engaged the participants in, stressed upon
tips to improve the listening skills, communication power and the importance of
improving the fluency while speaking English language.
It was
indeed an enriching session which winded up at 12.00 noon with a thank you note
