TRAINING AND DEMONSTRATION SESSION ON J-GATE
Father
Muller Knowledge Centre (Central Library) organized a Training and
Demonstration session on “J-Gate†on 2nd June 2017. Mr Mahesh G., Training Manager – Informatics
Publishing Limited, Bangalore was the resource person for the training session.
Dr
Nagesh K.R. Professor & Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine &
Toxicology & the Library Committee Chairperson, welcomed the gathering and
introduced the resource person.
The
resource person gave demonstration on J-Gate e-resource. Briefed
on Basic search, Advanced search, All Journals
- number of full-text Journals, How to
search Journal articles, My Library
Journals, My Favorite Journals, How to register J-Gate? Journal / Author Finder etc.
Faculty
and Postgraduate students actively participated and cleared their doubts. At
the end, Dr Janet Dotty Lobo, Librarian, FMCI proposed the vote of thanks.
