LIVE DEMONSTRATION ON GRAMMARLY

A live Demonstration session on Grammarly was organized by Father Muller Knowledge Centre (Central Library) on 28th July 2017.  Dr Nagesh KR, Professor & Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Chairperson of Library Committee welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person.   

 

The resource person, Mr Diwakar Dubey, Sales Manager, Medical Education, Bridge People Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore gave a live demo on Grammarly and highlighted its features. Briefed the benefits, usage of Grammarly and informed that it is a tool which supports writing better by checking the writing errors, structure, format, sentences, vocabulary etc., thereby preventing plagiarism. It also helps to write different bibliographical styles.

 

There was an overwhelming response from the participants. Over 154 faculty and Postgraduate students actively participated and interacted with the resource person.   At the end, Dr Janet Dotty Lobo, Librarian, FMCI proposed the vote of thanks.
