GUEST LECTURE - Cardiac Surgery - Current Scenario and Beyond
The Department of General Surgery, Father Muller Medical
College, conducted a Guest Lecture on 26th August
2017 (Saturday) from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m. in the Hospital
Conference Hall. The programme began with prayer song by Mr Paul
Kuruvilla final year MBBS student. Dr Leo Francis Tauro, Professor
& HOD, Department of Surgery, welcomed the gathering. Dr Arul
Furtado, Consultant Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, Apollo Hospital, Bengaluru
delivered a Lecture on “Cardiac Surgery
- Current Scenario and beyondâ€. Dr Erel A.I. Diaz, Professor &
Unit Head, Department of Surgery and Dr Pradeep Pereira, Intervention
Cardiologist, Father Muller Medical College moderated the session. Dr
Prathvi Shetty, Associate Professor, Department of Surgery proposed the vote of
thanks.
The programme was compered by Dr Supriya Pinto, Postgraduate
Resident. All Staff members, Postgraduates from the Department of Surgery,
House Surgeons and final year students were present for the Guest
Lecture. A total of 60 delegates attended this guest lecture.
