INAUGURATION OF AHS COURSES 2017-18
The Inauguration of Allied
Health Science Courses – Masters in Hospital Administration, M.Sc. Medical
Laboratory Technology, Masters of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy,
B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology, B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology and B.Sc.
Radiotherapy for the year 2017-18 was held on Tuesday, 12th September 2017 in the Decennial Memorial Hall
of Father Mullers. Sr Maria Shruthi,AC,
Principal of St Agnes Special School was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The
Director of Father Mullers Rev. Fr Richard Coelho presided over the
function. Dean of Father Muller Medical College Dr
Jayaprakash Alva, Administrator, Father Muller Medical College Rev. Fr Ajith
Menezes, Administrator of Father Muller Medical College
Hospital Rev. Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, Vice-Dean Dr Padmaja
Udayakumar and Course Coordinator Mr Sudeep Pais, were present on the dais.
The Dean welcomed the
gathering. Rev. Fr Rudolph D’Sa welcomed Sr Shruthi with a bouquet of flowers.
The courses were inaugurated with lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Rev.
Fr Ajith Menezes introduced the Chief Guest Sr Shruthi and appreciated her achievements
and contributions to the cause of specially abled children. Sr
Shruthi, in her inaugural address, expressed her gratitude to Father Muller
Charitable Institutions and the association that St Agnes Special
School has had with FMCI. She called
upon the students to work hard and dedicate their services to healing ministry.
Rev. Fr Richard Coelho in his
presidential address expressed his deep sense of gratitude to Sr Maria Shruthi for her presence on the occasion. He congratulated the students for having
chosen various Allied Health Science Courses at FMCI and also spoke on the importance
of Allied Health Science Professionals’ contribution to mainstream Healthcare
services.
As a token of appreciation,
the Chief Guest was felicitated with a memento. Mr Sudeep Pais, Course
Coordinator, Department of Physiotherapy delivered the vote of thanks and
thanked all the dignitaries for their presence and support.
