Report on CME on Respiratory Medicine
A half day CME on ‘Respiratory Medicine’ was
conducted by the department of General Medicine on 25th of January 2018 in decennial
memorial hall at Fr.Muller Medical College Hospital. The inaugural was presided
by Rev.Fr. Richard Coehlo, Director, FMCI, Dr.Jayaprakash Alva, Dean, FMMC
& Dr.R.Arunachalam, HOD,Medicine.
The four speakers included Dr Ashok Bhat (interactive session on
ABG) Dr.Giridhar(ILD demystified) Dr. Vishak Acharya(approach to
spirometry) and Dr. Chakrapani( newer perspectives to COPD). The sessions
were of interactive nature. A total of 104 delegates took part in the CME
which included post graduates from outside colleges. Over all the CME was
of a great success and academically enriching experience for all those who
partook.
