The Department of General Surgery, in
association with Department of Radiology, Father Muller Medical College,
conducted Guest Lecture on 2nd
June 2018 from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m. in the
Hospital Conference Hall. The programme
began with a prayer song. Dr Leo
Francis Tauro, Professor & HOD, Department of Surgery, welcomed the
gathering. Dr Keerthi
Raj,
Interventional Radiologist, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, delivered a
Guest Lecture on “Endovascular
Management of Traumatic Vascular Injuries of Abdominal and Peripheral Vesselsâ€. Dr Erel A.I.
Diaz, Professor, Department of Surgery and Dr Ram Shenoy Basthi, Professor, Department
of Radiology moderated the session. Dr Chirag Pereira, Senior Resident,
Department of Surgery proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was
compiled by Dr Nisha Thambuchetty, final year Postgraduate Resident. All Staff
members and postgraduates from the Department of Surgery and Radiology were
present during the Guest Lecture. A total of 50 delegates attended
the guest lecture.
