ARENA 2018 - Closing Ceremony
The five-day fiesta of
the culturals, ‘ARENA 2018’ came to a spectacular end, with the closing
ceremony on 16 October 2018 at the Academy Hall.
The programme began
with a melodious prayer song that soothed the soul.
Dr Karen Castelino
welcomed everyone with a heartfelt message.
Fr. Ajith B. Menezes,
Administrator, FMMC, reviewed the culturals and inspired the young minds with
words of wisdom.
Fr Richard Aloysius
Coelho, Director, FMCI delivered the presidential address.
With great pride and
joy, Dr Jayaprakash Alva, Dean, FMMC announced the results with the MBBS batch
of 2016, bagging the 2nd place and the MBBS batch of 2015, bagging the 1st
place and the overall winners.
To end it all, on a
good and congratulatory note, the night ended with a DJ performance, to which
students and teachers alike, grooved, till the music stopped, thus, concluding
the closing ceremony.
Merriyam Surrao,
Cultural Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks with a special mention, of
each and every individual, involved in the smooth conduct, of the event.
