WORKSHOP ON “LAPAROSCOPIC HERNIA REPAIRâ€
The Department of General
Surgery conducted Workshop on “Laparoscopic Hernia Repair†on 11th
December 2018 at 3.00 – 4.30 p.m. at Hospital Conference Hall, Father
Muller Medical College, Mangalore. Dr. Leo Francis Tauro, Professor & HOD,
Department of Surgery, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Rakesh Rai,
Professor & Unit Head and Dr. Ganesh M.K. Surgical Gastroenterologist, Father
Muller Medical College, Mangalore, were the resource persons. Dr. Rakesh Rai demonstrated Techniques of Laparoscopic
Inguinal Hernia Repair – TAPP and Dr. Ganesh M.K. demonstrated Laparoscopic Inguinal
Hernia Repair TEP and Laparoscopic Ventral Hernia Repair.
Dr.
Prathvi Shetty, Associate Professor, Department of surgery proposed the vote of
thanks. All the faculty members and the
postgraduates from the Department of Surgery participated in the workshop.
