Women’s Day programme on Healthy Women-Happy Family

      The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing of Father Muller College of Nursing in collaboration with Lions Club Mangaluru and Sri Narayana Guru Seva Sangha celebrated International Women’s Day with the theme 'Healthy Women Happy Family' on March 10^th 2019 at Sri Narayana Guru Seva Sangha, Mary Hill.

     Dr. Rita Noronha Director Centre for Development Studies and Education was the chief guest. Rev Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director FMCI presided over the programme. Mrs. Philomena D’Souza was felicitated for her enormous contribution in the field of Agriculture. Mr Vijay Vishnu Mayya, President, Lions Club Mangalore addressed the gathering.

     Various sessions were held for the women on topics such as Balancing home and work, graceful ageing, CPR, First aid during bleeding and fracture, Breast Self Examination and Adolescent Nutrition. There were 105 beneficiaries. A Mega health camp was also organized from Father Muller Medical College Hospital as a part of this programme.
