Report on Group Health Awareness Program on Kidney Diseases

The department of Community Health Nursing along with 12 students of final year B.Sc Nursing organized a group health teaching program on the topic “Chronic Kidney Diseases” and “Renal Calculi” at Krishnapaura under the guidance of Prof Irene Alvares, HOD, and Prof (Dr) Devina E Rodrigues dept of Community Health Nursing. The teaching was given by using colorful charts, flash cards and demonstration of renal diet. The 14 beneficiaries appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the students. At the end the brain storming session helped the public to clear their doubts on the subject matter.
