In observance of World Pregnancy Awareness Week and Safe Motherhood Day, the Department of OBG Nursing along with the IV BSc nursing students organised a health awareness program at Taluk General Hospital, Bantwal on 11^th April 2019. The students enacted a mime which highlighted the components of Safe motherhood followed by a talk was given on antenatal and postnatal care including breastfeeding, immunization and family planning. The students demonstrated the antenatal, postnatal exercises and different breast feeding positions. 31 mothers witnessed this session.
