MASS HEALTH EDUCATION ON PREVENTION OF MALARIA

       The 2nd year GNM students of Father Muller School of Nursing  organized a mass health education on 4th April 2017 in Male Medical ‘S’ ward at 11.00 am on the topic “Prevention of Malaria”  with the objective of creating awareness among the patients and their family members on the causes, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, management and prevention of Malaria.

  

        The programme began with a prayer song.  Ms Monica D’Souza welcomed the gathering followed by a role play on the theme. Students briefed about malaria with the help of Audio visual aids. Around 30 in-patients and their attenders witnessed this role play.  The Principal and teaching staff of  School of Nursing were also present. The programme was led by Ms Jesmitha D’Souza and it came to an end at 12.00 noon.
