REPORT ON SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAMME
The
students of 3rd year GNM conducted a School Health Programme on
28/09/2018 at 10.00 am at Govt. higher primary school, Katipalla, Surathkal. The
programme started with a prayer song led by Ms Laveena D’Mello and group. Ms
Nisha Lasrado welcomed the gathering.
Mr
Bashir, the Corporator of Katipalla region was the chief guest of the programme
addressed the students and delighted for conducting the programme. He mentioned
in his speech that students learn more from outside institutions than from own
institution. Mrs Jyothi, ex-SDMC President addressed the gathering. Mr Anantha
Ram Rao, Headmaster of Government higher primary school, Mrs Jasmine Sarita
Vas, Principal Father Muller School of Nursing, and teaching faculty of Father
Muller School of Nursing were actively involved in the programme.
The
students performed the role play on ‘Personal Hygiene’ and described about its
importance and health benefits using various AV Aids. Students explained
regarding ‘Menstrual Hygiene’ using various AV Aids including video and
flashcards.
The
vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Vinoliya Fernandes. The students of the
school and the teaching faculty of the school participated actively in the program
and appreciated the efforts. Refreshments were served to the gathering. The
program was compered by Ms Bhavyashri. Around 200 were the beneficiaries of the
program.
