The
students of III year GNM conducted a mass health education on 07th
December 2018 at 10.30am in ‘H’ ward on the topic “Postnatal Careâ€. The
programme commenced with a prayer song. The welcome speech was given by Ms Rovita
D’Souza followed by the role play on the topic was performed.
The
students explained about the importance of postnatal care and baby care.
Students explained about rest and sleep, personal hygiene, postnatal diet,
family planning and importance of follow up in Kannada as well in Malayalam.
The inmates and patient’s of ‘H’ ward and ‘G’ ward were present. Mrs Jasmine
Sarita Vas, Principal Father Muller School of Nursing along with the faculty
and ward in charge’s graced the occasion. Vote of thanks was given by Ms Rovita
D’Souza. The programme came to an end at 11.30am. Ms Rovita D’Souza compered
the program. Around 75 mothers got benefitted out of it.
