REPORT ON WEBINAR
Father Muller Charitable Institutions and the Central
Library Committee organized a webinar on "Preparing a publication-ready
manuscript for an Indexed Journal" on 25th February 2022 at
3.00.p.m. Dr. Janet Dotty Lobo,
Librarian extended a warm welcome and introduced Ms. Beejal Mandalia, Associate
Marketing Manager, Wolters Kluwer, Medknow Publications and
the resource person Mrs. Mamta Java, Senior Managing
Editor, Wolters Kluwer, Medknow Publications.
Mrs. Mamta Java, the resource person presented
a PowerPoint presentation and shared the information
on Preparing a publication-ready manuscript for an Indexed
Journal. She has highlighted the importance of Planning, Writing the
Paper, Using Research Reporting Guidelines, Standard Practices in Ethical
Reporting, Journal Selection, Peer Review, Key requirements for Indexed
Journals. Over 97 faculties and students participated and were actively involved in the interactive session. The
webinar concluded with a vote of thanks.
