Training program on library e-resources

A total of 307 students from M.Sc., P.B.B.Sc., and Basic B.Sc. Nursing attended a training program on library e-resources organised by the Criteria III Committee in collaboration with the Central Library on 23-20-2025. The Chief Librarian, Dr Janer Dotty Lobo, served as the resource person, and Dr Devina E Rodrigues, Professor & Chairperson of Criteria III, served as the moderator for the three-hour session. Students were oriented to the library rules and regulations and shown photographs of various sections, including the journal section, reading rooms, faculty room, locker room, and biometric access point. They were introduced to the available hard copies of books and journals. The session also covered e-resources such as Embassy, Science Directory, HELINET, and CINAHL. A demonstration on how to access remote resources, question banks, and videos was conducted. An interactive Q&A session helped students clarify their doubts. After completion, library cards were issued to all participants. The Chairperson (MC) and members of Criteria III managed logistics, attendance, feedback collection and discipline.
