TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Party should read and understand these rules and regulaons before booking the hall. The applicaon f or booking the hall should be filled in BLOCK LETTERS only.

2. Person or Instuon who books the Hall should clearly indicate their name as per their Bank Account.

3. Whoever books the Hall should pay the full rent and cauon deposit while booking. Unless full rent is paid and receipt is obtained booking is not valid. Tentave bookings are not entertained. All payments s hould be made by o nly crossed DEMAND DRAFT / RTGS in favour of “FATHER MULLER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS” payable at Mangalore.

4. Booking will be done only on calendar day basis i.e 12.01 am to 11.59 pm. Any spillage will be considered as an extra day and will be charged accordingly

5. To ensure confirmaon of booking a deposit of 25% of the total rental amount to be paid as an advance. Payment to b e made by way of DD / RTGS only. No cheques and no cash transacons are permied.

6. The enre amount should be paid 30 days prior to the event. I n case of cancellaon of booking:

  • a) 30 days prior to the event, the full amount will be refunded a er deducng an administrave fee of Rs 3,000/-
  • b) 50% of the enre amount will be refunded if the cancellaon is done 10-20 days prior to the event.
  • c) No amount will be refunded in case the cancellaon is done 10 days prior from the date of event.
  • 7.Person or Instuon who books the Hall should clearly indicate the purpose for which the Hall or Halls are booked, me required etc. The Hall is provided for single marriage purpose only, in case more than one marriage is held at t he same me, extra charges will be levied.

    8.Management/Hall Manager will not be responsible for any the, loss of arcles, damage of the vehicles or the or a ny accident occurring within the hall premises during the funcon.

    9.Parking of vehicles of the invitees or parcipants is only allowed at their own risk. And vehicles s hould not be parked f or more than half an hour a er the funcon winds up.

    10.Crackers or light eming fireworks, explosive substance are not allowed inside and outside the Hall premises, f ailing which heavy penalty will be levied.

    11.Person or Instuon holding the funcon should maintain absolute discipline and decorum. Using g lues, nails or colour on the walls and ceiling is not allowed. Any damage caused to the premises due to use of these will aract a p enalty.

    12.Party booking the Hall should abide by the rules and regulaons and should vacate the hall within the specified me. The decision of the Hall Manager / Management in this regard will be final.

    13. People who book the Hall should take precauon for the safety of the children a ending the funcon.

    14. Damages caused, if any to the premises or the property of the Hall will be made good by FMCI Management / Hall Manager.

    15. No acvies against the state or connected to illegal assembly of any religion, society, morality or any thing that hurts the feeling of any parcular person, community, instuon or religion shall be p erformed on the stage. Under t he circumstances, the management reserves the right to ask for the o riginal copy of the songs, scripts, speech etc. o f the drama for its approval.

    16. The person who books the Hall for dramas, variety entertainment, cultural funcon shall obtain a “Performance L icence” from D.S.P's office and sasfy the management before the performances. Police 'bandobust' if found n ecessary should be arranged by pares.

    17. The cauon deposit can be claimed in full a er three days but within 15 days a er the funcon, provided no damage or loss has been caused to the building, including fings, installaon and f urniture. In case of any damage, t he necessary amount will be deducted from the cauon deposit. The esmate of the damage made by the managing commiee is final. No claim of cauon deposit will be entertained a er 15 days of the funcon. Cauon d eposit will be paid by account payee crossed cheques in favour of the person menoned in the original receipt on s urrender of the original deposit receipt. If it is lost, an affidavit in this connecon is to be made and submied. If the e xtent of damage is not covered by the refundable deposit, the client will need to bear the balance amount as a scertained b y the management.

    18. The party booking the Hall shall be personally responsible to ensure that no untoward incident should take place l eading to criminal acon such as breach of peace in and around the hall premises.

    19. Power will be supplied from our generator and in case there is an unforeseen breakdown of the generator, the management is not bound to make good the me lost or pay any compensaon.

    20. Only electrical contractors authorized by the Management are allowed to provide extra light fi ngs and other electrical requirement of the hirers of the Hall. Other people are not allowed to handle any such works.

    21. Use of “DRONE” inside the Convenon Centre Halls may be used subject to the condion that full care is taken not to c ause any damage to the surrounding areas, equipments or persons inside the area. Party concerned will be fully r esponsilble in case of any technical failure or damage.

    22. Gas cylinders, electrical stove, meat frying machines are not allowed inside the Hall. It can be used in the kitchen area only.

    23. Eatables like Ice-creams, pan-beeda, snacks, cold drink, etc. are not allowed inside the Auditorium.

    24. Water fountain, ice carvings, electronic crackers, motorized displays, heavy metal designs, video t rolley/ crane are not allowed inside any of the Halls or in the premises of the Convenon Centre.

    25. Cooking is not permied inside any of the Halls. A separate kitchen will be provided for rent with Dining Hall booking. Caterers should not wash or clean their vessels and utensils in the Hall premises. G arbage o r waste materials should not be le or dumped within the Hall premises or inside and o utside the Hall a nd Grounds.

    26. The caterers, backdrop personnel, decorators, sound system and Music troupe are required to vacate a nd clear the hall immediately a er the funcon. Failure to clear the Hall will aract heavy penalty.

    27. Violaon of these rules and regulaons shall entle the party to forfeit their cauon deposit paid.

    28. Party booking the hall should abide by the noficaon/ order made by the Excise Department/ Government from me t o me for serving alcoholic beverages during the funcon. For serving liquor, license should be obtained by the client. L iquor shall be served only in Muller Dine and Muller Mini Hall (During day ll 03.00 pm and night ll 10.00 pm only).

    29. Cerficate of marriage or any other cerficates will not be issued for the marriages or any other f uncons taking place in any of the Halls.

    30. The Hall mings for the morning event: 10.00 am to 03.30 pm. Evening event: 06.00 pm to 10.30 pm. Please note t hat a er each funcon the Hall must be cleaned and kept ready for next funcon.

    31. If the party requires the Hall in the early hours (only in case of availability) it will be allowed under extra cost on hourly basis.

    32. Sound system and music should stop at 3.00 pm for morning event, and 10.15 pm for the night event. The music / band shall stop at 03.00 pm and clearance of all belonging from the venue should be done before / by 04.00 pm sharp for morning / noon programme. Evening session for music to stop i s 10.15 pm and venue cleared by 11.00 p m sharp (11.00 pm power supply will be switched off).

    33. No food counters are allowed to be placed in the Balcony area of the hall and in the auditorium. No so drinks, Snacks, eatables, food items are permied inside the Auditorium.

    34. No serving of food using long tables in the Father Muller Convenon Hall. Only plasc round table s ystem or buffet system of serving food is allowed.

    35. The party booking the Hall should give specific instrucons to the Catering personnel that no waste is to be thrown i n the hall premises and campus, also to take care of walls while serving food.

    36. Only flower pots with plasc cover will be allowed inside the hall. Earthenware pots will not be allowed inside the hall.

    37. The party booking the hall will give strict instrucons to the backdrop personnel or decorators that no nails, gum t apes, gum sckers, colour or any other materials will be used on the hall walls. Furniture should not be shied / m oved from it's exisng locaon or re-located.

    38. The power points will be shown by the hall officials to the music band or troupe that draws power for their equipment.

    39. No canopy to the Food Counter inside the Halls. And no paron of any type inside the Hall premises a n d no readymade hand washing is allowed inside the hall.

    40. The caterers will keep their vessels, plates and other items only in the pantry shown to them by the hall officials.

    41. WARNING FOR ROCE FUNCTION:- No eggs, tomatoes, beer or anything apart from Roce should be used during the R oce Ceremony. If found, the enre cauon deposit paid by the party will be forfeited as a penalty.

    42. The members of the management shall have the right to enter the Halls / Auditorium and green room during funcon along with one member who booked the Hall. (They will produce their ID card).

    43. The Management reserves the right to amend, delete or add rules as and when found necessary. In case of any increase in the charges levied by the Government or local bodies, the party is also liable to p ay the same in addion t o the present hall charges.

    44. The legal jurisdicon shall be Mangalore courts only.
