College Hospital, Kankanady, Mangalore added another feather in their
cap on 09, March 2016 by introducing two new advanced equipments in
microbiology laboratory and blood bank. This new equipment for
testing blood is from Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, USA. It works on
the principle of enhanced Chemiluminescence and can be used for
diagnosis of infectious diseases caused by HIV, Hepatitis viruses,
Toxoplasma, Cytomegalovirus etc. This fully automated equipment can
diagnose infections earlier and gives faster, accurate results
compared to the existing methods of testing. Father Muller Medical
College Hospital Laboratory and blood bank is already equipped with
many other modern and advanced testing facilities. The prestigious
