Medical science is advancing with record rapidity. One indispensable component that has been behind this fast forward progress is blood transfusion service – be it routine or emergency cases or complex medical and surgical intervention. Hence Blood transfusion service is a vital part of health care. Increasing advancement in the field of transfusion medicine has necessitated enforcing measures to ensure the quality of Blood and its products.
