Awareness program at De Merci De Orphanage, Paneer
The department of Community Health Nursing along with the
students of II BSc Nursing, conducted a health awareness program on the topic "Personal
Hygiene and Good Behavior" on 6th June 2022 at De Mercide
Orphanage, Paneer, Mangaluru. The program commenced
at 4pm with a prayer. The informational role play on the topic was performed by
the students followed by health education. The steps of hand washing and dental
hygiene were taught to the children with the help of action dance. Students also conducted games for the children and
winners were awarded with prizes. There were
69 beneficiaries for the program.
