In order to have an awareness about International day against drug abuse, an oath taking ceremony was held on 26-06-2024 at 12.15 pm in the Lecture Hall.    The Oath was administered by administered by Mr. Harish M R, S.I. of Bantwala Police Station. The Principal, Vice Principal, Faculty and students were present.

The Students and faculty of Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay celebrated the 9th World Yoga Day at Father Muller Indoor Stadium on 21-06-2024 at 3.30 pm. along with the students, faculty and staff from various constituent colleges of FMCI, highlighting the importance of yoga in daily life.   Dr Shailaja Katti, Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, graciously welcomed the attendees and expressed gratitude in her vote of thanks. The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, designate director and administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Fr Ajith B Menezes, administrator FMMC, Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta, assistant administrator, FMMCH, along with members of the management committee, faculty, staff, and students.

 Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo delivered an inspiring address, emphasising the rich heritage of yoga as an integral part of Indian culture. He stated, "We are all familiar with the statement 'Make in India' but have forgotten what was Made in India. This ancient practice of Indian culture was resurrected through this yoga day. Yoga is a holistic approach to invigorate physical wellbeing, sharpen mental well-being, and deepen spiritual connect."  He urged the large gathering to incorporate yoga into their everyday lives, promoting its practice to keep this ancient tradition alive.

 The yogasana session was conducted by Dr. Nisha C a naturopath and yoga physician in FMHMCH, Deralakatte and by fellow students who are well versed in practicing yoga. 

 Following the inaugural session, participants from the various FMCI constituent colleges engaged in a yoga session. The colleges represented Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences & Physiotherapy, Father Muller School & College of Nursing, Father Muller College (Speech & Hearing) and the NSS Unit.

 The event was a testament to the unity and dedication of the FMCI community in promoting health and wellness through the practice of yoga. The collective participation and enthusiasm showcased the institution's commitment in fostering a holistic approach to health, aligning with the essence of World Yoga Day.

NSS unit of Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay observed Van Mahostav on 14-06-2024 at 3.30 pm to create enthusiasm among students to plant trees. The Administrator Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo emphasized the importance of planting and nurturing trees to ensure a good quality of life.  Following this, the Principal enlightened the gathering on the necessity of preserving nature for the sake of future generation, emphasizing that this responsibility lies with each of us.  To conclude, the Administrator presented a powerful slogan "Save trees, Save Life".   The Principal, Vice Principal, faculty and students were present.

As a part of the curricular activity, the students of first semester B.Sc. nursing prepared and presented anatomy models. The students were assigned into 14 groups. There were 2 working models and 12 non-working models. All the students came out with beautiful models on the topics assigned to them. The models were displayed in the college. The efforts of students was well appreciated by the Principal and the faculty.

The Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay in Collaboration with Father Muller Hospital Thumbay, A Mega free Health camp was conducted on 05/05/2024 from 9 am to 1.00 pm. The Department of Adult Health Nursing and the 2nd year BSc. Nursing 3rd semester students actively participated in the health awareness program, on the topic of Hypertension and its prevention, Diabetic Mellitus, Insulin Therapy, and Foot care. In addition, they accompanied at the Reception counter and checked height and weight as well as BMI. They furthermore collaborated with the medical team and nursing team in all the outpatient department functioning. 

   Dr.Sr.Judy (SIC) Principal of FMNCT Mrs Jacintha Valder Class co-ordinator, Mrs. Sushma Rodrigues and MS. Shefali co-ordinated the Heath Education sessions as well as evaluated the session. 

  The program was attended by 30 patients and their relatives. There were around 65 beneficiaries from in and around Bantwal Taluk.

The students of the Second semester BSc nursing visited the milk dairy as well as to the Museum of Anatomy and Pathology Manipal and the planetarium on 18-05-2024. The students started from the college at 8.15 am and returned at 7.00 pm. The students were accompanied by Mrs. Janet Sequeira and Mrs. Sushma Rodrigues.

1. Visit to Dakshina Kannada milk dairy Udupi: The quality controller of the plant gave a description of the plant and explained on the entire process of the plant, from the collection and reception of milk to the processing of milk and milk products, the storage of the products, and the dispensing of the products.

2. Visit to Manipal Museum of Anatomy and Pathology:The visit to the museum offered a fascinating glimpse into the complexities of the human body with exhibits showcasing both human and animal anatomy.

3. Visit to Dr. T.M.A. Pai planetarium: It provided an opportunity to experience a simulated night sky and engage in learning insights on space exploration.

NURSES DAY CELEBRATION - 2024

The nurses day was celebrated on 9th May 2024 at Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay in collaboration with nurses service Dept. FMHT. On account of international nurses day celebration different events were held like: Poster making competition, symposium on the theme of nurses day, Session on nurses day theme and finally the nurses day program.

The poster making competition was held for the students and 19 teams participated in it. The posters were evaluated and the best 3 posters were awarded with cash prizes and participation certificates to all the participants.

The students of 3rd semester BSc nursing conducted a symposium on the theme of international nurses day, OUR NURSES. OUR FUTURE. The Economic Power of Care. The students took up the role of moderator and speakers and presented the content and answered the questions raised by the audience at the end.

A session on the theme of international nurses day was organized for the students as well as for the staff nurses of Father Muller Hospital Thumbay. Dr Agnes EJ, Vice principal, Father Muller College of Nursing was the resource person. Madam highlighted on different aspects related to the theme which was very informative.

The nurses day programme was held at 3.30 pm in the Florence Nightingale hall. Rev Fr. Richard A Coelho, Director,FMCI, Dr Agnes EJ , vice principal FMCON , Chief Guest , Rev Fr. Sylvester Vincent lobo, Administrator, Dr. Kiran Shetty Medical Superintendent, Rev Sr Dhanya Devasia CNO, Dr Sr Judy SIC Prinicipal, and Mrs. Silviya Nisha Lobo ANS were the dignitaries.

The programme started with a prayer song led by the 2nd year BSc nursing students. Dr Sr Judy welcomed the gathering followed by paying tribute to our founder Fr. Augustus Muller and founder of modern nursing Florence Nightingale. Chief guest Dr Agnes EJ addressed the gathering and spoke on the healthy life style practices to reduce stress and prevent burn out among the nurses. The best bedside nurse of FMHT was announced and awarded by the Director. The winners and runner up trophy for sports and cultural activities was awarded to the students. The Director in his presidential address spoke on the qualities of nurses highlihting on humility.

The students performed mime and a dance depicting the roles of nurse and paying tribute to the nurse. Games were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners.

 Mrs. Silviya Nisha Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. Programme was concluded with Institutional anthem. Refreshments were served to all.

The Annual Athletic Meet was held on 18-04-2024 and 19-04-2024 from 4.30pm onwards at FMCI grounds Kankanady along with six other units of FMCI.  The formal inauguration of athletic meet was held on 18th April 2024 at 4.30 pm by invoking God's blessings through a prayer song.             Dr Jeedhu Radhakrishnan, Consultant & Head of Department of Emergency Medicine, Kasturba Medical College Hospital was the chief guest.  Rev Fr Richard A Coelho, Director, FMCI presided the event.  Rev Fr Ajith B Menezes, Administrator, FMMC extended a warm welcome to the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest.  Administrators and Principals of all Colleges were present on the dais. 

 The programme began with the March Past of different batches of Father Muller Charitable Institutions.  The Chief Guest inaugurated the programme by hoisting the institutional flag and releasing balloons.  The Kreeda Jyothi was done by the athletes of the Institution and the torch signified the spirit of true sportsmanship.  The student representatives pledged the oath. 

 The students of 3rd semester B.Sc. (N) participated in athletic meet.  College wise events were organized.  The Physical Instructors and Sports coordinators were incharge of various events.

 The valedictory programme took place at 9.00 pm on 19th April 2024.  Rev. Fr Ajith B Menezes and faculty of various institutions honoured the winners of athletic events.  The individual and group championship of each Institution were distributed.  The students of FMNCT bagged second place in March Past as well as in intercollegiate 4 x100 relay.

A seminar on anti-ragging was organized for the students on 16th April 2024 at 2.30pm in the Florence Nightingale hall.  The session started with a prayer song, followed by welcome address by Mrs. Sushma.  During the welcome address the resource person was welcomed with a sapling by Principal, Dr. Sr. Judy SIC.                Mr. Harish M R - SI of Bantwala police station was the resource person who spoke and enlightened students on the topic. He addressed on various aspects of ragging like the types of physical and verbal abuse and hoe ragging can affect the future life of an individual as well as on the legal aspects. He mentioned that ragging is a kind of criminal act and those involved in it are punishable by law. He advised the students not to get involved in any form of ragging activity in the college or hostel. He also suggested what needs to be done if anyone becomes a victim of ragging activity. He asked the students to note down the helpline numbers as well as the email ID through which the students can contact when no action is being taken at Institutional level.  Dr. Kiran Shetty, Medical Superintendent, FMHT was present during the session.  The Session was conducted with vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Michelle and it was followed by National Anthem.

The Annual Sports and games Meet 2024 was held on 6th April 2024 at Father Muller Indoor Stadium from 9 am to 5 pm.  The inaugural programme was held at 9.30 am.  During the inaugural programme Director Rev Fr Richard A Coelho addressed the students and in his message he spoke about the importance of sports and games along with the academic performance.  Games such as Dodge ball, throw ball and badminton were held along with some lucky games.  In the valedictory function Dr. Kiran Shetty, Medical Superintendent, FMHT distributed the prizes to the winners.  Good discipline team spirit and sportsmanship was observed among students.

SNA organized Cultural Competitions form 3rd April 2024 to 5th April 2024.  The inauguration of cultural was held on 3rd April 2024 at 8.45 am.  The Administrator Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, inaugurated the cultural competitions and delivered a message to the students.  There were 17 different events organized and students participated with great enthusiasm in events and demonstrated good team spirit. On 5th April 2024 at 3.00 pm valedictory programme was held.  Chief Guest Dr Mrs Shiji P J, Professor and HOD Community Health Nursing Department, FMCON addressed and congratulated the students.  Dr Sr Judy, Principal and Administrator                Rev Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo also congratulated the students.  Prizes were distributed for all the winners and the judges of various events were acknowledged with a memento as a token of gratitude.

 Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay has conducted an annual retreat on 23rd March 2024 from 08.30 am to 04.00 pm for Christian Catholic nursing students for their spiritual enrichment. Dr. Fr. Jacob Mulovarikkal - SVD and Brother. Brayan were the resource persons for the retreat. The retreat started at 08.30 am. Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo, administrator of FMHT & FMNCT welcomed the resource persons.

Dr. Fr. Jacob enlightened the students on eternal life, the meaning of love, the importance of forgiveness and gratitude. Being a clinical psychologist, his thought-provoking words to the adolescent were highly appreciated. His sense of humour and spirituality of life were apt to the need of the hour, as he applied to the current situation of life. Brother. Brayan inspired the students by his journey of life and encouraged students to join Jesus Youth. He kept the group alive with his exuberant music and action songs. The retreat was concluded with adoration followed by Mass which was offered by Fr. Rahul Dextor and con-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo.

The administrator Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo thanked everyone. A total of 66 students were present for the retreat. Dr. Sr. Judy, Principal FMNCT, and all the faculty members were present for the retreat. All the participants expressed they had a great experience that renewed their life.

In addition, value-based education was conducted for non-Christian students by Brother.Ancy Lobo from 08.30 am to 12.30 pm. A total of 14 students were present for the sessions. The participants expressed the sessions enlightened their lives.

Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) recently held a prestigious ceremony to award scholarships for the academic year 2023-2024 to the most deserving students of its educational institutions. The event, which took place on Friday, 8th March 2024, at 10.30 am in the Hospital Conference Hall, was a celebration of academic excellence and a testament to FMCI's commitment to nurturing talented individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest Dr. Leo Francis Tauro professor and unit head of the Department of General Surgery at Father Muller Medical College (FMMC). The event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho Director FMCI. Other dignitaries present included Rev. Fr. Ajith B Menezes Administrator FMMC, Rev. Fr. George Jeevan Sequeira Administrator Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Rev. Fr. Roshan Crasta Administrator Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, and Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo  Administrator  Father Muller Hospital and Nursing College Thumbe. The presence of principals, vice principals, deans of colleges, students, and parents added to the grandeur of the event.

Sr. Jacintha D'Souza, Principal of Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON) and Father Muller School of Nursing (FMSON), extended a warm welcome to the gathering. She set the tone for the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and supporting talented students who aspire to excel despite facing economic challenges.

A total of 47 students, hailing from economically poor backgrounds yet demonstrating exceptional academic prowess, were awarded scholarships amounting to 25 lakh rupees. These scholarships serve as a beacon of hope for these students, enabling them to pursue their educational dreams and reach their full potential.

During his address, Chief Guest Dr. Leo Francis Tauro quoted the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, stressing the importance of hard work, dedication, and resilience in the face of failure. He congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to cultivate a fiery spirit, work hard, and have the courage to grow and move forward. He advised them to seek God's blessings, stay away from bad habits, practice discipline, and avoid reckless spending. He emphasized the significance of balance in life, the value of a smile, and the importance of staying humble and helping the needy when one is in a position to do so.

Rev. Fr. Ajith B Menezes, who organized the entire program, highlighted the institution's commitment to supporting deserving students through scholarships.
Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, in his address, highlighted the institution's commitment to providing scholarships and urged students to remain focused, goal-oriented, and grateful for the opportunities they have received. He reminded them of their purpose as future healthcare professionals and emphasized the value of simplicity, humility, and excellence; He also reflected on the significance of International Women's Day, urging everyone to respect all life and be humane in their actions. He spoke about the virtue of poverty, drawing parallels with the teachings of the Sermon on the Mount, where the poor are blessed and humbleness leads to greatness.

A touching moment came when a student named Andrea, speaking on behalf of scholarship recipients, expressed gratitude to Bishop of Mangalore and President of FMCI Most Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha for sanctioning the scholarships and to the Director for instituting the distribution of the same.
The ceremony concluded with a message of gratitude to parents for their support and a reminder to students to pay back to society when they are successful. It was a day filled with inspiration, reflection, and gratitude, highlighting the values of education, humility, and service instilled by FMCI in its students.

In conclusion, the scholarship awards ceremony at FMCI was not just a celebration of academic excellence but also a reaffirmation of the institution's commitment to nurturing talent and supporting students in their pursuit of knowledge and excellence. Through such initiatives, FMCI continues to be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change in the lives of many deserving individuals.

The first PTA of 2nd batch (2023-24) was held on 11-01-2024 at 2.00 pm in the Lecture Hall - 1.  Mrs. Janet Sequeira Vice Principal welcomed the gathering.  The resource person Dr. Namratha S addressed the students and their parents on various soft skills which are required to be developed by every nurse.  She stressed on these major areas like knowledge skill and attitude.  She also advised the parents to support and encourage their wards in developing these important areas.  As majority of the parents were from Kerala and unable to understand English    Dr Sr Judy SIC translated the content into Malayalam. After the session Principal Dr Sr Judy SIC addressed the parents and gave Instructions on various aspects related to academics, sessional exams, clinicals, hostel etc.  Mrs. Lixy Sebastian was selected as a PTA member.  Parents also were given opportunity to clear any doubts.  The PTA meeting got over at 3.30 pm.  Refreshment was served to all

The lamp lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony of 2nd Batch (2023-24) of BSc Nursing Students of Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay was celebrated on 11 January 2024 at 10:00 am with a thanks giving mass celebrated by Rev Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, the Director of FMCI and Con-celebrated by Rev.Fr.Sylvester Vincent Lobo, the Administrator of Father Muller Hospital Thumbay.

The formal Lamp Lighting ceremony was graced by invoking God's blessings led by 2nd year B.Sc. nursing students.  Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo welcomed the dignitaries and gathering.  The dignitaries on the dais were Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, FMCI, Chief guest Rev. Sr. Jacintha DSouza, Principal FMCON & FMSON Mangalore,  , Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator, FMHT & FMNCT, Dr Kiran Shetty, Medical Superintendent, FMHT, Rev.  Dr Sr Judy SIC Principal and Mrs. Janet Sequeira, Vice Principal, FMNCT.

 Rev. Dr. Sr. Judy SIC Principal enlightened the students and audience, on the significance of the day on the lamp lighting and Oath-taking ceremony. The most awaited moment of the day was the lamp-lighting ceremony of the First year B.Sc. Student Nurses solemnly came forward to light the lamp which was lit by the nursing leaders Sr. Jacintha D' souza and Rev. Dr. Sr. Judy SIC Principal of the College. Florence Nightingale Oath was administered by Rev. Dr. Sr Judy SIC Principal of the College to the New Nightingales.  

 Rev. Sr. Jacintha Dsouza, the Chief Guest of the day enlightened the students and gathering by saying "Let the World know you Care, let the patient know at that moment that you are caring for them, then to the hospital, community and the world that itself will spread light when you are caring.   In the end, she conveyed her best wishes by saying that Florence Nightingale would be your role model.

 Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho gave a presidential address with the message, where he said, "The world today is the world of materialism embracing more and more richness, wealth, property,  gold, silver, we should not go after the worldly things but always should give care to the patient. Always use the opportunity don't waste time be responsible and never take life for granted.  Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Janet Sequeira, Vice Principal.   The programme was meticulously and eloquently compered by Rev. Sr Nancy Mathias.  The Programme was concluded with Institutional Anthem.  Lunch was served to all.

Christmas celebration was held on 21-12-2023 at 2.30pm in the Florence Nightingale Hall, to mark the joy and happiness of birth of Jesus Christ.

The Programme started a prayer led by Ms. Anshlin and team.  Ms.  Adrin  welcomed the dignitaries.  Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator, FMHT, Dr. Sr. Judy SIC, Principal, FMNCT,   Mrs. Janet Sequeira, Vice Principal all the teaching and Non-teaching staff were present on the dais. 

The joy of baby Jesus born was expressed by singing carols by the faculty and students. The entry of Santa Claus added more colour to the celebration.  The lucky games were conducted to the faculty & students.

Dr. Sr. Judy SIC, enlightened the gathering with her message.   Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo gave the Presidential address.    Programme was concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Reshma.  

Refreshments were served to all.   Institutional Anthem was sung before adjourning.  The Programme was compered by Ms. Nirmala and Ms. Jasmine. The programme ended at 3.30pm.

Lanterne 2023, freshers day was organized by students of first Semester (2023-24 batch) on 08th December 2023 at 3.30pm at Florence Nightingale Hall.   Rev. Fr.
Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions was the
President for this function.    Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo (Administrator), Dr. A Kiran Shetty (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Sr. Judy SIC (Principal), Mrs. Janet Sequeira  (Vice Principal)  and faculty were present on the dais. 
 
The Programme started with a prayer song by Mrs. Michelle followed by welcome address.  Thereafter students performed various performances like dancing, singing, skit and mime which entertained the audience as well as the message through skit and mime.  Some lucky games were held for the group. 
 
Director addressed the gathering and gave the presidential address.  The Programme was anchored by Ms. Lanney Ozita Fernandes and Ms. Maria Babu.  Vote of thanks was proposed by  Mr. ChristonDSouza.  Refreshments were served to all.  By singing the Institutional Anthem programme was concluded.

Handing over and taking charge of the New Principal of FMNCT was held on 04-12-2023 at 3.30 pm in the Lecture Hall.  The programme started with a prayer song lead by 2nd semester students.  The Administrator Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering.The citation of Rev. Sr. Dhanya Devasia was read by Mrs.
Janet Sequeira and was followed by felicitation to Sr. Dhanya by Director and the dignitaries on the dais.Sr. Dhanya gave the message and expressed her gratitude and shared her experiences at FMNCT. Thereafter the Director announced the name of new Principal.  Dr. Sr. Judy SIC. and new Principal was welcomed on to the dais with a sapling by Director.Sr. Dhanya then handed over the charge to the new Principal Dr. Sr. Judy SIC.  It was followed by a speech by the new Principal.Director in his presidential address made it clear why the change in Principal and also thanked    Sr. Dhanya for her valuable services here at FMNCT as well as welcomed Dr. Sr. Judy to the new post and wished her success.  He also announced that Mrs. Janet Sequeira as the Vice Principal of FMNCT.Administrator thanked Rev. Sr. Jacintha DSouza, Principal, FMCON for her support and contributions rendered towards FMNCT and offered a sapling as a token of appreciation by Director.A short video prepared by 2nd semester students was played to cherish their memories with Sr. Dhanya.The Programme was compered and vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Silviya Nisha Lobo.The programme came to an end with Institutional Anthem followed by refreshment.

The first & the only nursing college in Bantwal and a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions was Inaugurated and Blessed by Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha on 01.11.2023 on the 113th Death Anniversary of Fr Augustus Muller its Founder. 

Chief Guest of the celebration U.T.Khader, Hon'ble Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly unveiled the plaque and addressed the gathering saying "Stating how Father Muller Nursing College Thumbay, was a matter of great pride to Thumbay Grama as it was the first nursing college in Bantwal Taluk. He also gave his best regards to the students who were studying here by wishing them a bright and colourful future. Furthermore, he even wished for Father Muller Charitable Institutions to add even more courses in order to help open up many more future opportunities. He also assured that he will render his constant support and service to the Institution for the future years. He concluded by wishing the gathering a hearty 50th Karnataka Rajoytsava".

Rev. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator FMHT & FMNCT appreciated the work done by the Engineers & contractors. Guest of Honours Shri B Abdul Salam & Michael D Souza felicitated the Building contractors, Engineers, Architects and the persons involved in the construction of the new building.

He stated that this state of heart stands to give education and excellence in the field of healthcare. He congratulated FMCI for establishing this new unit. In closing, he encouraged all the students to always remember to follow empathy and to care on the good work".

Michael Dsouza, congratulated all the nursing staff and students who were studying in this institution and wished the students a better future and success in their future ventures. 

President of the celebration Most. Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese & President of FMCI, made a special mentioned how wonderful today was a triple celebration of Karnataka Rajoytsava, all Saints Day and also the Inauguration of the college. He stated how nursing played an important role to help improve the quality of the hospital. He expressed how nurses help to improve patient care and how this impacts to improve patient health. He also thanked the dedication of the constructors, engineers and architects for their meticulous work.

The Course Inauguration of 2nd batch of B.Sc. Nursing was held on 16-10-2023 at 11.15 am in the Lecture Hall.  The programme started with a prayer song lead by 2nd semester B.Sc. Nursing students.  The formal inauguration of the course was done by lighting the traditional lamp by the dignitaries, student representative and a parent representative. 
The Administrator of FMHT & FMNCT Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo welcomed the dignitaries and the new batch of students and their parents.  He also gave a brief introduction about FMNCT & FMHT before the welcome address.
Rev. Sr. Dhanya Devasia, Principal delivered the inaugural address, she in her address encouraged students on developing study habits, time management, respecting authorities and seniors as well as on building a positive study environment.Ms. Sandra 2nd semester student shared her experience with the gathering.Programme was concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Jacintha Valder.
Institutional anthem was sung at the end.  Lunch was arranged for the new batch of students and their students.All the new students along with their parents, the teaching staff as well as 3 students of 2nd semester moved to FMMC campus for the formal course inauguration of all Academic courses (2023-24) of FMCI which was held at Convention Centre.
