Awareness Program on Drugabuse and its effects
The students of III BSc Nursing along with faculty of Child Health Nursing department of Father Muller College of Nursing organized an awareness program on 12th July, 2024 at St Joseph's High School, Bajpe on the topic, "Drugabuse and its effects". The program included a talk, roleplay and activity involving the students of the school. The key highlights of the talk included effects, symptoms, management and real-life scenarios related to drug abuse. The execution of the program was guided by Mr Manoj PS, Prof Helen Claret Dsouza and Mrs Sandra Saldanha. Prof Wilma Noronha and Dr Josmitha Dsouza also accompanied for the program. A total of 350 students from Class 8 to 10 attended the program. The program was terminated by pledging oath against drug abuse by all the participants.
